Cinco de Mayo Lunch

Cinco de Mayo Lunch from bunchesolunches.comHappy Cinco de Mayo!!! So funny story. A few years ago I saw Caren from Bento-ology make this lunch, and ever since then, I have been OBSESSED with finding the little sombrero hat topper. Other bloggers (like my buddy Anna from Becoming A Bentoholic) have used it in their lunches as well and I could not find them. Now, I feel like I’m pretty good at finding things on the web, but this little hat eluded me until a friend (thanks Anna!) found it for me! It took awhile, but when we found it, I scooped up a few sets of them!!! YAY!!! Happy dance at my house.

Anyway…here’s my cinco de mayo lunch for this year.

In this lunch:

Whole Wheat Bread
Tillamook Cheese
Ham
Pirate Booty
Organic Baby Carrots
Cocktail Cucumber
Grapes
TJ’s Yogurt Star

This lunch was packed in a Planetbox Rover. The silicone cups were part of a trade. The piñata pick was from a cake shop a friend found for me. The sombrero hat came from an online cake shop that is out of business. The chile I found at my local cake shop. The church cookie cutter was a gift from my mom. The flag pick was from a set I bought at Daiso Japan a few years ago.
